Cognitive Assessments
There are different cognitive assessments based on what you need (for example learning disability). The WISC-V assessment will give you a full scale IQ and a break down of strengths within different domains.
This means that you can see where your child excels or where they have difficulties and need support.
General Psychological Assessment
This assessment will find out what the problem is and what the underlying causes are. Then we can look at treatment plans and ways to resolve the problems.
The assessment can take place in the setting that is most suitable (home, therapy office or school).
Autism Assessments
There are multiple elements to the Autism assessments. ADOS-2, ADI-R, other therapists involved (Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychiatry etc).
